Jess Rousse is my lil roommate. I think at some point in time some old black woman from the 1930’s did some voodoo curse and left her voice in Jess’s body. Kind of like Ariel in The Little Mermaid but with soul and no ocean what so ever. If you haven’t heard her you will soon and if you like to party she’ll love you. Smart enough to be a doctor and soulful enough to write a song that will bring you to tears…after her voice drops a paint bucket on a blank canvas. Dezam aka Dez aka miss management. If your an artist and you don’t have a manager beg the fates you get someone like her. I honestly think she has OCD with doing “entertainment stuff”. She’s working on a music project which I’m pretty sure will be some sort of secret homage to Lady Gaga. I laugh at her crush with Gaga because its one of the only times a girl and I agree that Lady Gaga has got a booty worth a winning lotto ticket. (insert over-used internet acronym here)
I didn’t learn Dizzle Phunk’s real name till about 3 months ago. And i’ve known him for almost 2 years now. He’s The Great Gatsby of DJs and still rocks vinyl. Which is like an artist still using a brush rather than spray paint. You can find him at 57 West on mondays if you want to have a good time. One time I saw a girl suck a dollar bill off a dudes face with her vajayjay. I looked over at Dizzle and shared a “yeah..that just happened” stare … good times.
If you’ve never heard D.Strange and you live in Orlando then your either stupid or deaf. He’s a producer/MC who’s songs has inspired many of my own. A good friend and also an ill artist, Strange is exactly like his name. His live shows are awesome as you can tell from this picture at the AKA lounge when it was still alive. I think its safe to say that strange and Dizzle Phunk on the 1’s and 2’s killed this venue.

Lombardo is an artist and one of my good friends. If he’s not skateboarding or calling out safety for its unimportance he’s painting one of the trillion ideas that floats in his italian noggin. He has a project coming up soon at the Science Center and is downtown on mondays in front of or in 57 West.
Madd Illz (right) is my like-able arch nemesis. He defeated the hell out me in my first attempt at battling ever. Needless to say I’ve worked on my pop culture references. Brown Study (left) and him were doing a show at Tatame that was dope. It’s like watching the hulk smash through lyrics in front of you…only less dangerous and more fun.
